If you forgot the IP address, username or password of the router, you can press and hold the Reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds. The WRVS4400N consist two CPU's with different architectures ARM-9202 and ARM-9109. But yes I also found out that the internet access from WLAN devices is 10 % faster. I changed nothing in the code for the ARM 9109 CPU except the explained compiler options. This CPU is only responsible for boot and for the traffic from the WLAN to the internet. Then I created a VPN user, again with success.
